This Tuesday killings  are  coming after a failed attempt to  assassinate the Secretary  of the Diobu Vigilante group, Prince Amatari, on Thursday, September 20,  by Seven unknown gunmen armed with AK 47 but killed a member of Diobu vigilante group on same day.

He has therefore called on the Governor Wike to start the demolition of waterfronts and shanties in and around Diobu to dislodge the hoodlums who claims hibernate in the Waterfronts.

Spokesman of the group, Prince Amatari who said he was the  target of the attack of September hoodlums who invaded his home with weapons to attack him but on meeting his absence, at about 1 am they cut all the burglary proofs before gaining access into his house and ransacked.

In a ferocious rage, the rampaging hoodlums attacked other members of the vigilante group and killed  Ifeanyi (Chimele Amadi) who died while being rushed to the hospital with the assistance of the police.

Recounting the ordeal, Prince Amatari Biabelebe. “I escaped assassination by some hoodlums numbering about seven who  invaded my compound but on realising that I was not around, they left to Ojoto street where they shot a vigilante member by name George, they also went to an area near Saint Thomas Anglican Church  by Ikwerre road, shot another of our member (Chimele Amadi) who died in the hospital. “

” Police command should exclude; Mile One Diobu Police Division, Olu Obasanjo Police Division and others from patrols. But should deploy Mopol 19 for patrols. All the Police Divisions in Diobu should be equipped with more officers and vehicles. The criminals already know the lapses and are cashing on that to cause mayhem ” Amatari said
