Barrister Dumo Lulu-Briggs it was gathered funded Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi’s 2017 Birthday ceremony organized on June 17th, 2017 at Port Harcourt when the 52nd birthday bash was an avenue Barrister Dumo Lulu-Briggs used to test his closeness with Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. Sekonte Davies is not a happy man today and can never forgive Amaechi for his choice of Dr. Adol Dakuku Peterside as APC governorship candidate in 2019 Governorship election.
In that same meeting Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi declared the Chairman of FREE RIVERS Initiatives–Engineer Sampson Ngirigbara as Rivers South East Senatorial candidate replacing him with the incumbent distinguished Senator Magnus Ngei Abe who he had fallen out of favour with since the struggle for the APC Rivers state governorship race began in 2017. Those who were at the Lagos meeting relayed that Barrister Dumo-Lulu Briggs was told to wait for a Rivers State West Senatorial Ticket as compensation for his contributions to rebuilding APC even though he defected not more than a year ago to APC.
For Ikwerre/Emohua Federal House of Representatives ticket on that day of the Lagos Amaechi’s commissioner for Land and Survey Barrister Ezekiel Ezemonye Amadi from Omerelu in Ikwerre Local Government Area few kilometers away from Amaechi’s home town of Ubima was handed over the ticket currently being occupied by an Elele bornElder Chidi Frank Wihioka a stalwart of All Progressive Congress–APC who helped Amaechi in his 2007 Supreme Court Landmark Governorship Election Trial.
When the issue of Rivers East senatorial ticket was mentioned Amaechi was said to have remained motionless and speechless as everyone’s guess had been that he had reserved it for himself against popular Chief Allwell Onyesoh who many had tipped in All Progressive Congress -APC as the probable candidate except that he Chief Allwell Onyesoh a native of Umuanyagu in electoral Etche ward 5 of Etche Local Government Area is heading “THE MEETING” a group of APC Rivers state Chapter members loyal to Senator Magnus Ngei Abe’s Governorship ambition come 2019.

But the sitting governor Nyesom Wike is waiting for a show-down with Amaechi should he indicate interest in running for Rivers East senatorial seat Primary election for APC against Chief Allwell Onyesoh as he Governor Wike is ready to do the devil’s alternative by doing everything to have Chief Allwell Onyesoh disgrace Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and emerge victorious as APC candidate for the 2019 General elections. This is so as Amaechi is unarguably unpopular and political liability to Rivers State Chapter of APC as he might not even win election in his own Voting Unit in front of his father’s house at Ubima. So, the incumbent senator Andrew Uchendu from Emohua Local Government Area may be re-elected by consensus plans of Amaechi should he change his decision to run as Director-General of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Re-election Campaign Organization.
