I AM A QUALIFIED HAIR CARE SPECIALIST-SHOLA KUFISILE

It is with great pleasure Towncrier introduce to you the founder of the brand called ‘3nity hair product’. She is really down to earth, with a great sense of humour and can turn you to a natural everything from hair, body products and all if you give her the chance.

In this interview with Eric Olusesan, she takes us round her hair manufacturing world.

Please introduce yourself and your background?

My name is Olushola Vivian Kufisile. Am the CEO of Trinity beauty place services ltd, we are into services, trainings, events and products. I had my cosmetology training in Lagos years back with Salon services, Toyin street Ikeja, Aqua beauty salon and spa Opebi, Royal Beauty palace Adeniyi Jones Ikeja with over 16 years’ experience in Nigeria beauty industry and I have worked in 5 states across Nigeria plus Abuja fct. I hail from Lagos state Nigeria, Badagry local Govt.

I am an alumni of Fate foundation Business school, LEAP AFRCA, EDC/LBS LEKKI, Am a NAWE member, NRCS, CDHR, member of IHSTOBAN which is a recognised association within Nigerian for beauticians, cosmetologist, beauty therapist. I have also work with city and guild which is an international guild for artisans. I also have a trade test certified officer under hairdressing and cosmetology trade with Nigeria Ministry of Labour and productivity. I am the visionary founder of Alice Ajayi Foundation. An Ngo that is into women and youth economic empowerment, talent discovery, development and sustainability.

Where does your motivation for hair care cream manufacturing come from?

My inspiration comes from God Almighty, the Alpha and Omega, and from my late madam CJ. Walker, who is my role model, who against all odds made history in black world by producing her haircare line despite racists and gender discrimination. Also my late Mom, Mrs. Alice Ajayi and my grandmother Princess Ebunoluwa Abigail Kufisile are of great motivation to me.

What areas of concern do you see the most in this industry?

Competition, Penetrating the market, getting partners, funding, but with God we will get there.

Would you refer to yourself as a hair care specialist?

Yes of course. I am a qualified hair care specialist by virtue of my trainings. Wealth of experience and cosmetic science knowledge.

What’s your Advice for youths?

My advice to youths and those that aspire to build a career path in Beauty and cosmetology business is for them to get trained, mentored and get certified. They should invest in their personal development, upgrade their knowledge, be humble and open to correction. We have hierarchy in the Beauty industry and most upcoming beautician don’t believe in giving respect and being loyal. The humble beginning stage is not a waste of time. It’s a process that one have to go through.
