A father and daughter were arrested Tuesday in
Florida after allegedly being caught having sex in their back yard, according to reports.
Justin Bunn, 39, and his 19-year-old daughter, Taylor Bunn, were taken into custody after witnesses told Panama City police they spotted them having sexual intercourse in a back yard, the
Northwest Florida Daily News reported.
Both father and daughter confessed to having consensual sex but claimed it was an isolated incident, police said.
The Bunns appeared in court on incest charges Wednesday. The judge ordered them to stay away from each other, according to the Miami Herald.
Justin’s bail was set at $5,000 while Taylor’s bail was set at $1,000, the reports said.
A man who let a family spend the night at his Panama City, Florida home was woken up by a strange sound and an even more shocking sight. According to an arrest report obtained by Oxygen, Joshua Beal had let Justin Bunn, 39, and his two children stay at his home for the night.
Beal told police he woke up in the middle of the night because he heard a weird sound. He decided to investigate. He found only Bunn’s teenage son in the house. Then, Beal went into his backyard. There, he allegedly discovered Bunn and his 19-year-old daughter Taylor Bunn having sexual intercourse.
“When Beal confronted the two, they were ‘running around nude’ attempting to gather their clothes and get dressed,” the arrest report states. The family got ready to leave the home but not before the teen son made a disturbing remark to Beal. Beal told police that the teen boy “stated something along the lines of this being his life, his father and sister sleeping together.”
Police said that Taylor admitted to having sex with her father. Both father and daughter claimed it was an “isolated incident” and that they never had sex while Taylor was a minor. The sex was reportedly consensual. They were arrested on Tuesday and charged with incest. At a bail hearing, they were ordered to refrain from having contact with each other, according to the Miami Herald.
