One Miss Comfort Eze who was allegedly stripped naked by members of Vigilante group know as (ESPAC) Emohua Security Peace Advisory Committee, in Ovogo community in Emohua Local Government area of Rivers State is now calling for the arrest of the people who dehumanized her and paraded her naked publicly.

ESPAC alleged shooting to death of another Lady, Mrs Victoria Ibrahim in Rumuekpe also in Emohua for an undisclosed crime.

Miss Comfort Eze hails from Rumuji in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State while narrating her ordeal in the office of International Federation of Women Lawyers,(FIDA) in Port Harcourt said she went to farm to harvest Cassava and took small from her neighbour’s farm, on her way back Ovogo members of ESPAC accosted and arrested her that she stole Cassava.

The victim disclosed that she was stripped completely naked by the ESPAC members and paraded round the village and the incident was filmed and posted on Social media that has left her traumatized, humiliated and promoting her to take suicide each time she sees videos of her nakedness gone viral.

The victim revealed that members of ESPAC seized her bicycle and handset uptill date despite paying 52,000 naira to Vigilante group as fine.

She called on relevant authorities to arrest perpetrators of the alleged crime.

Social media pictures sighted by our Correspondent showed the victim stripped naked and paraded by men suspected to be ESPAC members while large crowd watching and videoing her.

When contacted, the Commander of ESPAC in Emohua LGA, Emeka Wori said he is aware of the incident but was not around when it happened.

Mr. Wori who condemned the act told Journalists that the Unit Commander of ESPAC has declined honouring invitation by the now disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, in the Local Government Area to answer questions  on the ugly incident.

Mr. Wori promised to ensure the arrest of the Ovogo Unit Commander if he fails to submit himself for investigation.

A member of FIDA, Rivers branch, Edna Amadi, called on relevant authorities to arrest the perpetrators of the crime, while describing it as inhumane, barbaric and cruel.

She called on well meaning Nigerians to join hand with FIDA to ensure justice on the matter.

Also speaking a concerned citizen  of the Local Government Area and an Advocate of human rights activist, Prince Wiro,  urged the Police,Council Authority and ESPAC leadership in the LGA to fish out the people involved in the crime for them to face justice.

A human rights advocacy group in Port Harcourt, the Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign has condemned an alleged stripping of of a lady, Miss Comfort Eze naked by suspected members of ESPAC in Ovogo in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The group in a statement released early and endorsed by Prince Wiro on Monday also condemned in strong term the alleged shooting to death of another woman,Mrs Victoria Ibrahim in Rumuekpe also in Emohua for an undisclosed crime.

Mrs. Ibrahim is said to be a mother of five by alleged ESPAC members in Rumukpe in Emohua LGA.

The group is demanding for the immediate arrest of the perpetrators of the act.

It called on the authority of Emohua LGA, Police Authority in the State to immediately arrest the perpetrator(s) of the crime.

It also enjoined the Emohua Local Government Area council to ensure  ESPAC operates within the confines of the law and added that it is working with the family of the deceased to ensure that both women get justice.
