HOW K1 DAUGHTER DAMILOLA A LAWYER REPRESENT NAIRA MARLEY IN LOCKDOW COVID-19 CASE

Did you know that the popular Fuji lord and the Mayegun of Yorubaland King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal aka K1 has a daughter who is a lawyer? Did you also know that the daughter called Damilola is the one who represented Naira in court on the Coronavirus lockdown violation case in Lagos?

We can tell you authoritatively that the young and brilliant Damilola Ayinde-Marshal is the leading solicitor to the controversial hip hop act, Naira Marley. Who was recently charged alongside others for violating Coronavirus lockdown order pronounced on Lagos, Ogun and Abuja, by attending top actress Funke Akindele’s husband’s birthday bash at their Amen Estate, Ibeju-Lekki in Lagos State

Naira Marley was charged to court alongside a guber aspirant under Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the last election in Lagos State who also doubles as Chairman of Amen Estate, Mr. Tunde Gbadamosi and his wife.

Marley and others have since been pardoned by the Lagos State governerment on three conditions that:

  1. The defendants would writer letter of apology to Lagos State Government.
  2. Sign an undertaking never to commit such offence again.
  3. To go on 14 days self isolation, having come in contact and mingled with those who are at the high risk of COVID-19.

The case was adjourned till today, 9th April, 2020, for the conditions to be met and the whole matter settled.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Oluwadamilola Ayomide Olorunnimilo would be making her dad proud. She has handled several cases and performed excellently since she was called to bar some years ago.

It would be recalled that Basirat Damilola Ayinde-Marshal was called to the Nigeria Bar sometime in December 2015, in Abuja.

The grand occasion held at the International Conference Centre,was attended by the cream de la cream of Nigerian society, including the then Minister of works, Housing and Power (now Minister of Works and Housing), Babatunde Fashola, who’s son Demola, was also called to bar.
