Not many fans and ardent lovers of Davido’s music know why the richest hip hop act married a lady far away from his tribe. Though, many may see the ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ crooner’s move as a normal occurrence but Towncrier.ng can authoritatively tell you that Davido followed the path of his grandfather, an Ede Islamic cleric who married an Igbo woman (Davido’s grandmother), an Igbo. Like grandpa like grandson, Davido proved to be an authentic son of the very popular Adeleke dynasty, a non-tribalistic family that encourages inter-cultural matrimony. Today, Chioma is enjoying the best of life with Davido, son of billionaire businessman Adedeji Adeleke and a multiple award winner both locally and internationally. Davido and Chioma are together blessed with a handsome son.
