Atiku Abubakar is a Liar, His Interview Full of Lies, Says Wike

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has hit back at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, branding him a liar.

Wike had said recently that he would expose Atiku over what transpired during the PDP’s primary election.

Atiku had during an interview on Arise TV said he chose Governor Ifeanyi Okowa ahead of Wike because he felt he was better for him.

But on Friday, Wike, who spoke at the Port Harcourt International Airport, said the interview Atiku granted on Arise TV was full of lies.

Thereafter he appeared before Arise Television, see the statements he made. So many lies were told.

“Atiku Abubakar told so many lies on Arise Television that I can’t leave unchallenged. I will react to those lies made by him and his attack dogs line by line at the end, Nigeria will know who love this country and who does not,” he said.

“The presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar when he unveiled his vice presidential candidate, no right thinking member and lover of this party will say the speech he made on that day was fair. Forget about the rainseekers, forget about the scavengers, I never reacted to it. I said, this party belongs to all of us. Thereafter, he appeared on Arise TV, see the statements he made. Several lies were told and then you say I should not react to some of those issues, that would not be fair. Assuming today I am not alive, obviously what they have said would be accepted as the truth.

“When people tell lies, it is very unfortunate. Some senators called me and told me that Atiku Abubakar said he sent Bukola Saraki to me. That is not fair, that is not correct. I was in the state, Bukola came to me. I asked him were you sent by Atiku Abubakar? He said no. I asked him what do you want me to do? He said the matter is so serious. He never knew this, this and that. Forget about sending scavengers. Some of them would call my friends and say ‘o boy, tell your guy na, make him support us.’ It has reduced to that level. I have become ‘guy’.”

“Atiku Abubakar came to my house (after the primary) to say I should support him. So he doesn’t know my house again? People I don’t even know are calling me to say I should support them. They are trivializing issues. No way, I will not accept that. Atiku cannot say that he has sent anybody to me. Let one person say that he came to see me and that he was sent by Atiku Abubakar. Forget about those who are running around, looking for how they will survive, saying ‘oh, we have tried to call him, he did not pick’. I don’t know your phone number, you tried to call me. If you tried to call me, you would have first sent text and say I am this person, please I want to talk with you. Nobody has done that.”
