There’s a new block of leadership hungry to take over the political landscape of Lagos state. This particular group remains anti-Bola Ahmed Tinubu as they have their anchor on indigenous grown political tutelage of former governor Akinwunmi Ambode. Thus, Olawale Oluwo former Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources while Akinwunmi Ambode was Governor of Lagos state is out with pragmatic vision to grapple the development of Lagos state with keen interest in providing action plans to reverse most of inimical factors that have held lagos state down. One of such developmental variables include the control of internally generated revenue which former governor of Lagos and frontline APC Presidential aspirant Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Alpha Beta Consulting Firm, a financial company supposed to be one of the flagships of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu whose origin of indigenous root is traced to Osun state, South West Nigeria is in charge of collecting revenues on behalf of Lagos State for a very long time. He Oluwo has vowed to put a stop to this anomaly and his statement concerning how he will rejig infrastructural development of Lagos state starting from security to creation of opportunities for all while looking forward to returning the wealth of Lagos back to the true people of Lagos state.
His drive is youth centred which include preparing youths to be integrated into governance with the target of making them have a say in future leadership strata of the state.
He reiterated the fact that he will provide leadership that will accommodate team style of leadership.
This is going to be a departure from the Lagos state political harmony as instituted by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu since he left office in 2007 to date as he supervises the election of any incoming Governor of Lagos state which now has another godfather in the place of Akinwunmi Ambode who never took part in the last election for a second term governorship.
