We are matching forward, thousands of APC cannot stop us – Prof. Eleka

Ekiti state deputy governor, Professor Kolapo Olusola Eleka has boasted that the continuity agenda of Governor Fayose is gathering momentum and is unstoppable. Eleka declared this on Monday during the inauguration of Osoko Mass Movement (OMM) nonpartisan coordinators across the sixteen-local government of the state.

The deputy governor who was accompanied to the continuity office, venue of the event by the Chief of Staff to the governor, Chief Dipo Anisulowo said, ” you have again given me words and instructed me to keep talking.

You have said I should press forward in completing the good works of Governor Fayose.

“These your orders are sacrosanct and binding. In as much we are serving unstoppable God, Continuity Agenda is unstoppable.

We are matching forward, thousands of APC cannot stop us. Allaying the fear of civil servants’ partisanship, Eleka said the Supreme Court in it judgment has laid that to rest.

“Before, they said civil servants cannot be involved in politics, but the Supreme Court has upturned it now. The civil servants now, can belong to any party of their choice,” he said.

Divulging the peculiarity of Ekiti case, Eleka said, ” Ekiti case goes beyond political party. What we want in Ekiti is progress, growth, and continuation of good works.

“There is something more than political parties. We are talking about personality, we are talking of the appropriate platform upon which we can stand and ensure continual unprecedented development of Ekiti state and the only man who has ever governed this state, who has given us such platform is Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose,” he explained!

Urging the newly inaugurated coordinators not to be intimidated, Eleka said the era of darkness was long gone in Ekiti, and Ekiti must not return to it again. “They (APC) are planning to come back to force competency test on you. They are coming to retrench you.
