RIVERS NEW APC LEADERS LAUD WIKE OVER TINUBU, SIM ELECTORAL VICTORIES

Leaders of the new All Progressives Congress (New APC) in Rivers State under the able leadership of High Chief Tony Okocha have commended Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for his pragmatic support towards the overwhelming electoral victories of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President Elect and Sir Siminialayi Fubara in the just concluded general elections in the state.

In a press statement issued in Port Harcourt, the state capital on Thursday, a copy of which is in our possession, the leaders also felicitated with the President-Elect and the Governor-Elect respectively for their electoral victories.

The statement signed by Dr Godpower Egbono and Ambassador Sokari Afiesimama, New APC leaders in Abua/Odual and Okrika LGAs in Rivers State respectively, on behalf of other leaders said, “We salute His Excellency, for  his  courage to stand on the part of Justice, equity and fairness, which ultimately aided the emergency of a southern  President in the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“We also use this medium to congratulate our President elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Senator Kassim Shettima for their resounding victory at the February 25th Presidential and National Assembly election; as well as our  Governor and his  Deputy Governor-Elect of Rivers State, Amaopusenibo Siminialayi Fubara and Prof Ngozi Ordu on their victories  at the just concluded Governorship and State Assembly elections.

“We are sure that with Tinubu’s Presidency and Sir Siminialayi Fubara as Governor, Rivers people shall be better placed to benefit from the centre.”

The leaders also congratulated Rivers people for their brilliant choice of a governor for the next four years, adding that, “we, as members of the New APC in Rivers State, under the Leadership of Chief Tony Okocha pledge our unalloy support to serve as the vehicle to bring good governance to our people. And we are willing to provide the requisite synergy through our groups that will impact positively on  all.”
