2023 PRESIDENTIAL RACE: THE BATTLES AGAINST APC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN-COMRADE ADAMS OSHIOMHOLE

For any serious Southern Nigerian politician who has interest in contesting for Presidential election in All Progressives Congress-APC, removing comrade Adams Oshiomhole as National Chairman of the party must be first priority in his wish list. First is the fact that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole knows the distribution of political offices in Nigeria and that it will be a rare case if both Presidential aspirant and National chairman of the party come from the same geo-political zone in an election year say 2023.

www.towncrier.ng investigations reveals that the implosion taking place in anti-Adams Oshiomhole stay in office as national chairman may not be unconnected with the fact that those serving Ministers whose names he has been dropping are his suspects in the 2023 presidential Primary election leading to the emergence of a presidential candidate of Rt. Honourable Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi or His Excellency Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio. If all speculations of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole come true he may not remain as national Chairman of APC come 2023 and this is a fact as National conventions that will be held according to the constitution of APC must have replacement of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as a top agenda.

When the political tsunami will occur Comrade Oshiomhole will be happy to take the exit flight out of Federal Capital territory FCT Abuja back to his Edo state country home with his head held high.

For political pundits the race to 2023 APC Presidential Primary election has just begun and no-one wants to be left behind as alignment of political allies and those of them from South west geo-political zone and their counter parts from South-South geo-political zone are busy scheming on strategies to adopt in getting support from political juggernauts in North West where electoral delegates have upper numerical strength and they are romancing with the power brokers in those zones such as Kano and Kaduna in North Central Geo-political zone.

North eastern Nigeria has overwhelming political bulldozers who no politician will ignore irrespective of the political party they belong to. But South Eastern Nigeria politicians are known as non contenders as they are power grabbers but only beg for crumbs after each election.
