Rivers State Government has suspended with immediate effect all Community Development Committee, CDC, elections in Ikwerre Local Government and all other Local Government Areas.
In Government Statement signed by Paulinus Nsirim, the Commissioner for Information and Communications directed Local Government Chairmen and security agencies to ensure that the suspension is implemented to the letter.
