The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State Chapter, says it does not responds to Inanities vide the lamentation spat by the factional Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Tony Okocha.
The comment was made in a press statement signed by Sydney Tambari Gbara, PDP Rivers State Chapter Publicity Secretary to the effect that Okocha’s diatribes that the Governor has refused to respond to the “deluge of allegations” made against him is superfluous, unfounded and a distraction.
Sydney Tambari Gbara, says the governor is focused on delivering democratic dividends to the people of Rivers State, hence does not have the time to respond to verbal diarrheas that has become Okocha’s second nature.
“Governor Siminialayi Fubara is too busy to see or hear Tony Okocha’s baseless rhetoric, which apparently reflected how empty he is.” He stated.

The statement says Tony Okocha who was hand picked as Rivers State APC Acting Chairman is deluded into believing that the only way to keep his job in NDDC is to be running his mouth even on irrelevant issues. “An Okocha who talks from both sides of his mouth does not worth the energy of a sitting Governor’s time because he is inconsequential.” Gbara said.
“Okocha should be informed that the quality of the opposition he represents has gone too low”. He added.
The PDP advised Okocha to up his game and learn from those who have been in the opposition turf with pride, saying that nobody will regard any opposition that has no vibe as it is worthless and unhelpful.
“Let me inform Tony Okocha, that the answers to what he called deluge of questions lies in the numerous projects and programs the state Governor has undertaken in the last eight months of his administration, particularly in human capital development, economic empowerment and infrastructure development across the State”. The statement reads.
The PDP Spokesperson said Tony Okocha can best be described as a serial betrayal and a political harlot whose track record of treacherous activities are well known to Rivers people.
“Chief Tony Okocha betrayed Former Governor Nyesom Wike and took over his position as Chief of Staff Government House, under Rt.Hon.Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi as Governor, he also betrayed former Governor Amaechi at the end of his tenure and ran to Senator Magnus Abe;
“Tony Okocha equally betrayed Magnus Abe and ran back to Nyesom Wike, the same person he betrayed in 2011. As an unsteady character who can do anything for a plate of beans, he will also run from Wike to Governor Sim Fubara when the beans he is presently enjoying from Wike finishes;
“How can our Governor pay attention to such a slippery character, let alone be taken seriously by any right thinking Rivers person”, PDP queries.
