WHEN PROFESSOR MAXWELL GIDADO CHIEF OF STAFF TO ADAMAWA STATE GOVERNOR WAS TURBANNED AS DAN MASANIN OF GANYE II

The gathering of who’s who in Nigerian political fermament took place in Ganye town as creme d’la creme of Nigeria’s high society people were all gathered for one of their own, Professor Maxwell Michael GIDADO the current Chief of Staff To GOVERNOR Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa state on Saturday 27th of November, 2021as he was bestowed with a traditional chieftaincy title known as Dan Masanin GANYE II, of Ganye Local Government Area of Adamawa state. The traditional Council of GANYE led by His Royal Highness Dr. Umaru Adamu Sanda, the Gangwari  Ganye II played host to the high profile dignitaries who graced the occasion.The high presence of Adamawa state executve council cabinet led by His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa state. Based on the COVID 19 protocol all guests were properly instructed to observe the guidelines outlined by National Center for Disease Control of NIGERIA–NCDC. For the celebrant, he was quite elated with the  presence of members of NIGERIAN Bar Association NBA, and being a Senior Advocate of NIGERIA–SAN, he was truly a star whose fermament shone brighter amidst jubilation from the teeming crowd including indigenes of Ganye Local Government Area and that of entire Adamawa South Senatorial District which has more than 9- local government areas under the catchment zone all turned up to give him spectacular star-studded support during the ceremony proper. Professor Maxwell Michael GIDADO is someone who is humble and never leaves his old buddies behind as he sojourns through  higher offices of responsibility from the days he was at University of Maiduguri Borno state as a Senior Lecturer to when he was appointed as Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Adamawa state in 1995 to when he took charge of Office of the Special Adviser to President Olusegun Obasanjo and later Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as Special Adviser on Legal and Constitutional Matters in the Presidency to when he was put in charge of one of the Executive offices at NIGERIAN Law School Bwari ABUJA.The pretty looking wife of the celebrant, Dr.(Mrs.) Rose  Suniso Maxwell  Gidado-who holds sway as Director of the Agricultural Biotechnology Department at the *National Biotechnology Development Agency Abuja* also added colour to the ceremony with very many dignitaries from Federal Capital Territory Abuja and beyond graced the occasion as their regaled in different attires with the traditional garbs so much cherished by the people. All the high profile guests had good quality of hospitality of the Ganye traditional institution as they all enjoyed the traditional dances and the cuisine of the Ganye people of Adamawa South Senatorial District. Days after the memorable occasion it has been registered as one of the best attained ceremonies in recent time in Adamawa state. 

Ganye town before now has produced successful politicians such as Alhaji Bamanga Tukur former National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party- PDP.Professor Maxwell Michael GIDADO is currently in the race to represent Adamawa South Senatorial District St the 10th National Assembly Abuja come 2023 general Elections.

It was an awesome occasion that brought together Nigerians and foreigners from allover the globe and the sleepy Community of Ganye town and environs enjoyed the presence of these high profile global citizens thereby leaving them with an indelible memory of a lifetime.
