COVID-19: MFM RELEASE GUIDELINES FOR RE-OPENING OF REGIONS, ZONES AND BRANCHES

The Leadership of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries has come out with the following guidelines in preparation for the re-opening of her Regions, Zones and Branches, for adoption in localities which allow re-opening of worship centres.
As preached by the General Overseer, ‘cleanliness is next to godliness’. Hence, a huge responsibility is on all Overseers and Heads of Mission to remind staff and congregants, who already know as well as enlighten those who are ignorant, of the need to maintain proper hygiene practices.

The guidelines are as follows:

1 . CLEANING: Thorough cleaning of the Church facilities, both inside and outside, including and not limited to doorknobs and handles, light switches, surface tops, desks and chairs, audio and musical equipments, etc.
Cleaning agents could be Hypo, Jik, Izal, Dettol, or Savlon and other NCDC approved disinfectants.

  1. FUMIGATION: Fumigation should be done immediately after the cleaning to rid the facilities of pests.
NOTE: Gloves and facemarks should be worn before and during the cleaning and fumigation exercises. Also, elderly persons above 60 years old and children should not be involved in the cleaning and fumigation exercises.
After fumigation, refer to step 1 to clean and disinfect the facilities again,
  2. INSTALLATIONS: Installation of befitting hand washing equipments with running water and soap at strategic locations (in and around the facilities). Proper drainage channels should be created for used water to leave the facilities.
o Provisions should be made for digital thermometers, for checking temperatures.
o Use of hand sanitjsers is an acceptable alternative to washing of hands.
  3. PROTECTIVE MASKS: The use of face masks must be encouraged in and around the church facilities. Provisions should be made for people who do not possess face masks.
  4. SEATING ARRANGEMENTS/PHYSICAL DISTANCING: Seating arrangement in the facilities should be at least 2 metres apart from each other to observe physical distancing. The number of chair placements should determine admission.
  5. DISINFECTING: Regular disinfecting of the facilities, advisably before the next service, must be carried out.
  6. CROWD CONTROL: Crowd control mechanism should be put in place for ease of entry and exit of the church facilities and car parks, especially in cases of multiple services.
  7. HOSPITAL AND HEALING MINISTRY TEAM: comprising of Health Workers (Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Laboratory Practitioners, and other Medical related personnel) are to assist the Ministry to ensure safety and wellness of congregants.
‘ A COVID-19 response team must be put in place to attend to emergencies during upcoming services.
Necessary arrangements should be made to ensure that suspected cases are well isolated, till provisions are made to evacuate such persons to certified isolation centres.
All members of the Welcoming Team, Ushering Team and Security Department should be duly sensitised to be able to identify and handle suspected persons.
  8. GENERAL: Full compliance with the above stated guidelines is not negotiable; as non compliance will prevent such Region, Zone or Branch from reopening.
Verifiable evidences of compliance must be submitted to the International Headquarters.
1 0. RE-OPENING DATE: Date for re-opening and operational guidelines for services going forward will be communicated shortly.
