How Major General Felix Agugo Unite Niger Delta Region

Since last year, 2019. When Major General Felix Agugo took over from Major General Jamil Sarham as General Officer Commanding 6 Division of Nigeria Army Port Harcourt Headquarters there has been easy calm in the oil and Gas business in Nigeria within Niger Delta region where he holds sway producing appreciable number of the Nigerian economy. How the lanky framed serious looking Major General Felix Agugo has been able to tactically deploy his expertise in military strategy surprised everyone. As at first week of February, to Monday 17th 2020 many tanker drivers in oil and Gas haulage business were taken unaware as the Major General Felix Agugo led command in charge of land sea Operations in the Niger Delta region to mopped up illegal dealers in the petroleum products business as many of them who were arrested were taken to 6, Division Headquarters Port Harcourt, where after thorough preliminary Investigations were handed over to Economic and Financial Crime Commission-EFCC for prosecution.

That is the stuff Major General Felix Agugo is made of as a stern looking well trained security operative even though the threat by petroleum products tanker drivers association to embark on industrial action as a result of arrest and detention of the trucks has not yielded any result. Major General Felix Agugo is said to have remained adamant based on his professional sense of judgement of protecting the territorial integrity of the country.


Last week, Major General Felix Agugo played host to some journalists in Rivers state, at 6, Division Python officers Mess port Harcourt, which event he pledged to maintain as a monthly relaxation avenue for journalists to unwind with the military hierarchy for mutual understanding and proper information dissemination to members of the public.
