Police nab a man alleged to have defiled 3 young daughters who are minors

*Wife Begs Police To Prosecute  Husband For Allegedly Defiling Of 3 Of Their Daughters

Detectives of the Rivers Police Command are now interrogating a 38 year old man, Uchenna Onyegbele Tobias, who was arrested for allegedly defiling his three daughters who mainly minors at different times.

One Mrs Christaina Tobias,who reported her husband to humanrights advocates and the Police has called for prosecution of her husband, Uchenna Onyegbele Tobias from Imo State  for allegedly defiling their three daughters who are minors .

Mrs Tobias in an interview with Journalists called on the Rivers State Police Command to ensure that her husband aged 38 years who is presently detained at Elekahia Police Station in Port Harcourt face justice. 

Narrating her ordeal, the mother of four disclosed that in the month of May this year, she went to market on a fateful day and asked her 10 year old daughter to bathe the five year old daughter.

She revealed that her female neighbour who opted help to bathe the five year old daugther discovered that the child had been penetrated. 

She said on arrival from the market the female neighbour  informed her and they took the five year old child to hospital ran by Doctors Without Borders where a medical examination was done on the child reportedly showed she was defiled.

She said her husband on noticing she was aware of his latest atrocity escaped from the house and have not been steady until his arrest yesterday.

Mrs Tobias further revealed that she caught her husband in 2012 using his finger to penetrate their 10 year old daughter who was two year then and when raised the alarm her mother inlaw with her husband beat her up while the village women warned her not to mention the case again. 

Mrs Tobias stated that in 2017 her husband had used his finger to penetrate the five year old daughter when she was two years and she reported him to the Police and the husband was later granted bail when she declined following up the case due to pressure from some quarters.

Mrs Tobias disclosed that the husband came to Port Harcourt this year  located her and pleaded for forgiveness and she forgave him not knowing he has not repented. 

Meanwhile Civil Right Activist, Comrade Otobo Dennis, whom the matter was reported to, said on receipt of the compliant, informed the community Youth President at Boms Street Elekahia Port Harcourt, Rivers State. 

Mr Otobo said acting on credible information that Mr. Tobias was in the house this afternoon the Youth and himself mobilised ,arrested the the suspect and handed him over to the Police. 

The spokesperson of Rivers State Police Command SP Omoni Nnamdi was yet to respond to text messages sent to his mobile phone neither did he pick several  calls put across to him.
